Why I Shouldn't be Trusted on Rollerblades
So for those who have been loyal readers from day one(all 3 of you), you know I have coordination issues...okay, so maybe more along the lines of I am NOT coordinated whatsoever.
I adore rollerblading in the summer. Love it. I spend my summer cruising around Lake Calhoun, bee-bopping to my MP3 player. There are couple of spots on my path where it crosses a street with on-coming traffic. This is a problem for someone who doesn't know how to stop on rollerblades. I always approach these 2 spots with fear and try to slow down as much as possible. The other day, as I approached my first intersection, I attempted to slow down as I saw a massive truck going towards me... except slowing down turned into me rollerblading into a bush. Nice work, Heath! I had the 2 men driving the truck chuckling, and a third man walking on the path come running up to me asking if I was okay.
Yeah....I really shouldn't be trused on rollerblades.
