Sooooooooooooooooooo Sorry
Shasta brought to my attention(it was correct of her to do so!) that I hadn't update blobby regarding our trip to visit her in the Twin Cities. So I did have a v.g. time:) Enjoyed thoroughly inhaling mass amounts of taco dip, hitting World's Market-which I have a strange obsession for, and kicking it downtown for some fun in the city. The highlight of the weekend was telling our cab driver how much we love taco dip and telling him to ask any "lady friends" he might have to whip up some taco dip for him. He was also from somewhere in Africa and had never heard of taco dip. He is missing out!!

"Why Yes, I've Got Acquaintances Up There"
A perfect example of that Southern charm I so dearly love. I was in New Orleans this past weekend for some good ol' fashioned Cajun fun with Greathen( a friend whom I studied abroad with) and her crazy, fun-lovin mother! It was a very hot and spicy weekend to say the least. That quote came from our male waiter who exclaimed that in his Southern drawl when I said I was from Milwaukee. I wish I could have tape-recorded that one b/c it was great stuff.
New Orleans provided me with some good entertainment including the following: standing on a balcony on Bourbon street yelling down to guys to flash me, getting freaked out on a ghost tour of the French Quarter w/ a tour guide who kept demonstrating how vampires kill using me as an example, stuffing my face with seafood and bingets, being extremely drunk all day and all night on Saturday, and being an extra on a TV pilot they are filming for the fall!!
It was a grrrrrrrrrrrreat time.
